Extended abstracts
If you want to contribute a presentation to the Summit paper sessions (conference streams or tracks), you need to submit an extended abstract not later than 27 February 2015. The closing date will not be extended.
- The extended abstract has to clearly attempt at discussing the positive or negative impact of applications (social or technological innovations) based on information concepts upon society facing global problems.
- Since the meeting is an attempt to discuss transversal issues, authors and speakers are kindly asked to prepare their presentations in a way that facilitates reciprocal understanding across different disciplinary domains as well as different schools of thinking. Extended abstracts shall take that into account.
- The minimum length of the text body of a submission is 1 page, the maximum length 3 pages. That is, the extended abstract shall have between 750 and 2.000 words (if not indicated otherwise).
- All extended abstracts have to be submitted via the conference submission system sciforum.net. Before submitting the extended abstract, you are kindly asked to create your account.
The review process is carried out by members of the International Programme Committee. You will be notified of acceptance, resubmission with changes or rejection of your extended abstract not later than 20 March 2015.
In case of acceptance, you are invited to submit the final formatted version of your extended abstract for online publication on sciforum.net. A template is available and it is mandatory to use it. Upload your file in a word version and a pdf. It will be provided with a DOI and made open to the public as soon as your registration for the Summit will have been finalised.
Early Bird registration will be open until 3 April 2015.

After the conference presenters at the conference are invited to submit full papers to the journals listed below according to their respective submission rules.
